Description
A medium sized watercolour artwork of Chrysanthemums.
A quirky floral piece showcasing two vased arrangements of flowers set against a staged corner offering counterpoints of colour and dimension. Notice the care taken here with the textures and surfaces – from the glazed ceramic reliefs of the vases to the dusky terracotta of the shelf, or the array of orderly browns that form the grained wood of the wall to the right-hand side, to the discreet yet intricately detailed shadows.
Painted in 1985, Signed by what looks like “Molly Bouncraft”
The painting is framed and is in excellent 10/10 condition.
