Description
A medium sized watercolour artwork of Visiting Kings Pyon in Hertfordshire, depicting a farm village type setting with people.
A quintessentially British scene, depicting a group of people strolling through a fairly typical rural British village. With its off-the-beaten-track footpaths, patches of unspoilt countryside and historic buildings, as seen here with the prominent Tudor-era building, to many this will conjure memories or ideas of many places they’ve known. Notice how the two tall trees guard the entrance to the field that practically beckons any lingering mind to inside. Where would such a journey of thought take you?
Painted by Ronald Birch and believed to have been painted in the mid 1980s
The painting is framed and is in excellent 10/10 condition.
