An equine delight on offer here, well structured and composed, proudly displaying a man in Edwardian-style dress walking two Shetland ponies through a field overlooking a sweeping vista. Of particular note is the artist’s masterful sense of depth of field with this piece as the well-defined and detailed foreground juxtaposes seamlessly against the wispy dreamlike background of the sea, clouds and sky.
Painted by unknown possibly in the 1950s.
The painting is framed, However the frame is not in good condition, although the painting is and is in Excellent 9/10 condition.
