In a style reminiscent of past masters, this evocative piece features the harbour of a busy port where a lonely figure writes or draws on the dockside while the crew of the small fishing or trading vessel prepare to either make berth or make way. The subtle blend of colour and strokes in this piece allow for a dreamlike presentation unlike few others.
